Google Duo Gets Updated With New Contact Screen & Audio Messages

Google  is rolling out a new server-side update for the  Google Duo App . The new update has brought new changes and improvements to the App. Google Duo Is Receiving A Server-Side Update The new update is making its way to all the users. We all know that  Google Duo’s  contact picker had separate tabs for video and audio previously. After this update, all the users will have just one tab. It will let them pick audio or video after selecting a contact. However, if the users will choose the message option, they will have an option of sending an audio-only message. Before this update, the users were only able to send the videos. In addition to all this, new doodling tools have also been introduced in the video messages. An option in the overflow menu has been introduced as well. It pulls up a multi-select screen where you can pick multiple favs at once. So, now you will not have to long press a contact to add it in the favorites. The development team of the  Google Duo Ap

Ugandan researchers develop an app to diagnose Malaria in 2 minutes

A group of researchers at Makerere University in Uganda have developed an app that uses photos of blood samples to diagnose malaria quickly. Malaria was reportedly the leading cause of death in Uganda as of 2016.  27% of deaths in the region resulted from the mosquito-borne disease. The country also has  the highest recorded rate of malaria in the world, with nearly 480 per 1,000 people contracting the disease annually. A CNN report paints a picture of the Kiruddu General Hospital, Kampala Uganda. Doctors in white coats flood the hallways moving to and fro past tired looking patients in Kitenge fabrics. On the floor above, lab technicians take on a heavy pile of slides for microscopic examination. The technicians look through the eyepieces of their equipment trying to figure out if the samples contain malaria parasites or the bacteria that causes tuberculosis. Automated support is a nightmare, whether in digital media or in the air

Automated support is a nightmare, whether you are dealing with a locked Twitter account, a locked Microsoft account, or a jumbo jet in the air. Software will be the death of humanity eventually if fail-safe measures are no implemented . This morning, Twitter locked my account because they “detected suspicious activity” though I passed a verification test they sent to me via email. Trying to do a password reset, I am told I have exceeded the maximum number of tries. Trying to get help from Support, I keep being sent an email that says, “The email address used to file your request does not match the email associated with the Twitter account you mentioned.” The entire support system is automated and sending me round in circles. The automated support system has been of zero help. How It Happened I was logged into Twitter on Firefox browser. I installed Opera Browser and logged in there too. Twitter said they detected something suspicious and said they had sent me a code to verify
