Gionee F205 Pro With 3,000mAh Battery Launched in India: Specifications and Price


Gionee has launched the Gionee F205 Pro device in India. This device is an entry-level phone which the Chinese company probably intends to use to make a comeback into India. The Gionee F205 Pro is apparently an upgrade to the older Gionee F205 which was launched in India in April 2018. We present to you all the details of this new phone – specifications and price.

Gionee F205 Pro Specifications

The Gionee F205 Pro is a dual-SIM (micro) phone that runs a custom interface based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a 2.5D curved glass. The device measures 148×70.9×8.8mm. Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739WW chipset, it comes with 2GB or RAM.
On the rear of the Gionee F205 Pro sits a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, coupled with an LED flash. Features like HDR, beautification, Portrait Mode, and scene detection can be seen. There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front, with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Gionee F205 Pro has 16GB of internal storage (expandable to up to 256GB via microSD card). It has a dedicated slot for a microSD card.
Connectivity options on the Gionee F205 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS. It comes with a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and an accelerometer. The phone has a fingerprint sensor situated on the rear. 
The Gionee F205 Pro is powered by a 3,000mAh battery, which is kind of small according to the new standards being set today, for example, as seen in the Samsung Galaxy S10 series that was just released, with the Galaxy S10+ coming with a 4,100mAh battery.
Sensors on board the Gionee F205 Pro include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The company is also touting the presence of Face Unlock. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It measures 148×70.9×8.8mm.

The Gionee F205 Pro price in India has been set at Rs. 6,990 (roughly 35,500 Naira). It is available in Black, Blue, and Champagne gold color variants.
