Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e launched with Infinity-O Displays

Samsung, on Wednesday, 20th February 2019, launched the highly anticipated S10 series at an event in San Francisco. This launch comes ahead of the MWC 2019 which is set to come up next week. The South Korean company launched three models – the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10e.
The S10e – even though it is the cheapest of the three – shares a few significant specifications with the other two. These include the processor, dynamic AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification, fast wireless charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare. Wireless PowerShare is a reverse wireless charging feature similar to what Huawei unveilled with the Mate 20 Pro.
The ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor found in the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ is said to be the “most advanced embedded fingerprint scanning method.” This is one of the biggest highlights of the series. The Galaxy S10e, on the other hand, has a capacitive fingerprint sensor on the rear. The dynamic AMOLED displays on the devices come with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.in addition to improved color accuracy and outdoor visibility, there is a blue light reduction feature to protect your eyes.
The Galaxy S10 series comes with IP68-certified dust and water resistance. The devices come with what Samsung calls “AI-powered performance”. This allows the software to preload commonly-used apps, and to recommend Bixby routines based on usage.
Depending on the region, all three phones will be available in dual-SIM variants.

Also at the launch event, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S10 5G variant. This comes with a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display – the largest Infinity Display yet – with 505ppi. It carries 8GB of RAM and sports a 3D depth camera. The device is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery.
