This year, the mobile industry is characterized by the improvement of trends and technologies that were implemented 2 years ago. Smaller, or even non-existent- notches on displays as well as an increasing number of camera sensors on smartphones are the stars of this year since performance is guaranteed on every market segment. Dual cameras are so last year as manufacturers have already moved to triple cameras as the mainstream setup, even in mid-range devices. However, few companies use it on budget handsets, and Ulefone is one of them with the introduction of Ulefone Note 7.
The device just launched on their official website and it is an affordable device with triple rear camera and a waterdrop display. The 6.1″ in-cell display with the waterdrop notch offers a 19.2:9 aspect ratio and it looks much more appealing compared to the classic notch found on many devices, even iPhone. It leaves ample room for status bar icons and display area.
On the camera department, there is a square setup that hosts 3 camera sensors as well as a dual LED flash module, just like the Huawei Mate 20 camera design. The sensors are an 8MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary, and a 2MP third sensor. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie shooter.
This device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6580 quad-core SoC accompanied by 1GB of RAM as well as 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 64GB more via microSD. It also supports Face unlock, a 3500mAh battery for up to 2 days of use on a single charge, and the lightweight Android Go OS. It is worth mentioning that the device retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and has a separate microSD slot besides the dual-SIM slots. It will be available in three colors: Black, Gold, and Twilight. The price isn’t revealed yet but it should be very affordable. To check out all the details, visit the official product page.
