TECNO Spark 5 And Spark 5 Air Launched; Feature 2GB RAM & 5,000mAh Battery

TECNO Spark 5 and Spark 5 Air are the latest TECNO smartphones to make their debut.

These devices from TECNO Mobile are successors to the Spark 4 which was launched in 2019. Both smartphones share a number of similarities, with major differences seen in their screen sizes and the number of rear cameras they possess.

Both smartphones have large batteries rated 5,000mAh and feature a 2GB RAM. They are also available in four different colour options.

TECNO Spark 5

The Spark 5 runs on the Android 10 with HiOS 6.1 on top and has a 6.6-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) display. There is still no clear confirmation on what processor is under the hood of this device, with the only certainty being that it features 2GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage.

This device has four rear cameras, with a 13MP main camera, two 2MP cameras that offer closeup shots and bokeh effect and a fourth AI camera. In front, a waterdrop-style notch houses an 8MP selfie camera with dual-LED flash.

This entry-level device brings with it a powerful 5,000mAh battery that does not support fast charging. This smartphone also includes a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and measures 164.7×76.3×8.75 mm.

This device offers an unbelievably large screen, with a 7-inch HD+ (720×1640 pixels) display. This smartphone runs on the Android 10 (Go edition) with HiOS 6 on top. The Spark 5 Air also has 2GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal memory just like the Spark 5.

The Spark 5 Air’s triple-rear camera system houses a 13MP main shooter much like the Spark 5, however, the details regarding the remaining rear cameras are still unknown. The waterdrop-style notch in front houses an 8MP selfie camera with dual-LED flash.

This entry-level smartphone offers a powerful 5,000mAh battery with no fast charging support. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and is slightly larger than the Spark 5, measuring 174.64×79.27×9.05mm.

The TECNO Spark 5 is priced at $124 and is available in Ice Jadeite, Spark Orange, Vacation Blue and Misty Grey colors. The price of the Spark 5 Air is currently unknown and will offer the same color options as the Spark 5.
